How to Ensure Sessions Appear in "My Agenda" in the Mobile App (via Swoogo's Session Picker)

When using Swoogo's Session Picker with Amego's mobile app, it's important to understand how session registration affects what appears in each attendee's personal agenda ("My Agenda") within the app. This article is to help you understand the process, if you still have questions please reach out to your Swoogo Account Manager.

 

How Swoogo's Session Picker Works

Swoogo's Session Picker is a specialized registration field designed to group multiple sessions for display and selection during the registration process.

The attendee will see sessions appear in their "My Agenda" if they:

  • Select a session during registration via the Session Picker, or
  • Are automatically included in an "included" session that is visible to them during registration

 

Note: If a session is marked as "included" but the attendee does not encounter the Session Picker field (e.g., it was excluded from their registration path), they will not be registered for that session. Consequently, it will not appear in their mobile app agenda.

 

How to Register Users for Sessions After Registration

If the Session Picker was not present in the original registration form and you need to assign sessions post-registration, use Swoogo's "Update Multiple" tool. This allows you to manually register attendees for sessions.

 

This step is essential to ensure:

  • The attendee is officially enrolled in the desired sessions
  • Those sessions are correctly synced to their "My Agenda" in the mobile app
