1:1 Meetings

1:1 Meetings

Amego’s all-new 1:1 meeting interface allows attendees to easily book meetings in both managed and open spaces. This guide will walk you through setting up meeting spaces and configuring permissions.

1. Add Meeting Spaces

To get started, you’ll need to create meeting spaces in the CMS:

  • Ensure the calendar start and end dates are correct so meeting slots are populated properly by navigating to Settings → Content → Calendar Begins & Calendar End.

  • Navigate to Meetings → Meeting Spaces.
  • Click New Meeting Space.

2. Configure Your Meeting Space

When adding a new meeting space, provide the following details:

  • Name: e.g., “Starbucks at Marriott”
  • Capacity: Maximum number of attendees per slot
  • Map Image (optional): Upload a visual location for the space
  • URL (optional): For interactive maps

3. Set Availability

Specify when the space is available:

  • Duration: Choose the length of each meeting from the drop-down. The options are 15, 30, 45, or 60 minutes.
  • Date
  • Start time
  • End time

The CMS will automatically generate meeting slots based on the duration and time range you provide.

4. Configure Meeting Permissions

Decide which attendees can book in each space:

  • Attendee Type or Tag: Limit booking to specific attendee types or tags

If no rules are added, all attendees can book with all attendees.

5. Attendee Meeting Requests and Agenda (App View)

Once your meeting spaces are set up, attendees can request 1:1 meetings directly in the app. You’ll see the confirmed meetings in your agenda, highlighted for easy identification.

Steps:

  1. Attendee Requests a Meeting
    • Attendees select a meeting space in the app and submit a request. Your meeting request will show up under messages.
  2. Meeting Confirmed
    • Once the meeting is accepted, it appears on your agenda.
  3. View in Agenda
    • Confirmed meetings are highlighted in green to differentiate them from other sessions.

Amego’s 1:1 Meetings feature makes scheduling simple by allowing you to add and customize meeting spaces, automatically generate time slots based on your availability, and control which attendees can book meetings.
