Managing Speakers
Speaker settings in Content > Speakers.

Speakers are usually set in the EMS system that is upstream from Amego in your events architecture.

Each setting is explained below but note that if the setting exists in your CMS you should make the edit there, as any change in Amego that is integrated to your EMS will be overwritten.

Images

Use a square image (512 x 512 pixels in PNG, JPG, or WEBP format) for speaker headshots. Images that are not square will be automatically center-cropped. If you upload a portrait-oriented image and the speaker’s head is cropped out, this is why.

Resources

You can upload files to appear in the Resources tab for a speaker. Simply drag and drop any files you want to share with attendees. Supported file formats include:

  • Documents: PDF, DOC, DOCX, KEY
  • Spreadsheets: CSV, XLS, XLSX
  • Images: PNG, JPG
  • Presentations: PPT
  • Media: MP3, MOV, MP4

Localization

When Localization is enabled, you can edit text labels here.

Order Content

By default, speakers are displayed in alphabetical order on the Speakers screen. If you’d like to customize the order, go to Screens > Screens > Speakers > Select Content, then uncheck Show All Published.

You’ll now see the full list of available speakers. You can either check Select All to include everyone, or click individual speakers to include them—selected speakers will be highlighted in green.

Once you’ve made your selections, go to the Order Content tab to drag and drop the speakers into your preferred order.
