Amego Knowledge Base: Your Ultimate Resource for Support and Guidance
Braindate Integration
A quick guide to how Braindate sessions sync into Amego, how attendees use the magic-link login, and the formatting rules to ensure seamless integration.

Braindate Integration

Amego supports a direct integration with Braindate, making it easy for attendees to book peer-to-peer learning conversations and view them directly in the app.

How It Works

  • Attendees book their Braindates through the Braindate platform.
  • Braindate sessions are automatically added to each attendee’s My Agenda in the Amego app via API.
  • Sessions are locked in the app. Attendees cannot remove or edit them through Amego.
  • Any changes must be made directly in the Braindate platform.

Seamless Login with Magic Link

Attendees can access Braindate using a magic link from within the app—no need to log in manually.

Magic Link URL Example:
https://customer.braindate.com/?utm_source=amego&utm_medium=integration&ext-token={{ca.ext_token}}

Session Setup Requirements

To ensure Braindate sessions appear correctly in the app, use the following format:

Title
[Braindate]: {Title}
Example: [Braindate]: How to Build a Personal Brand

Session Type
Braindate

Description & Location
These fields can be customized. We recommend the following template:

Description:

Key Reminders

  • Braindate sessions are auto-locked in Amego and cannot be edited or deleted from the attendee’s agenda in the app.
  • All changes must be made directly in the Braindate platform.
  • Be sure to follow the formatting guidelines to ensure sessions sync properly.
