Choosing Avatar Shapes

Customize how speaker and attendee avatars appear in your app. Select from round, square, or rounded square styles to match your event’s branding.

Amego gives you control over how avatars (profile images) are displayed throughout your event app. Avatars appear in several places, including:

• Speaker profiles
• Networking attendee profiles
• The attendee list
• The speaker carousel

You can choose from three avatar shapes:

• Round – A clean, modern look, often used for personal profiles.
• Square – A sharp, professional look, best for logos or formal branding.
• Rounded square – A balanced style that feels approachable yet polished.

How to Select an Avatar Shape

1. In the CMS, go to Design > Styles.
2. Click on the Avatar Shape dropdown menu.
3. Choose the shape that best fits your brand and audience.

Once selected, your choice will automatically apply across all places avatars appear in the app.

Tips for Choosing the Right Shape

• Round: Great for casual or community-focused events where people want a friendly, personal feel.
• Square: Works well if most avatars will be company logos or if your event style is more corporate.
• Rounded square: A flexible option that fits both logos and headshots without looking too rigid or too soft.
