Mobile versions 5.13.0 through 5.16.2
October’s Top 3 Updates
- Make Sidekick your own for every event: Event teams can now edit Sidekick’s identity, scope, and event-specific instructions, while locked sections protect its core behavior. A new Actions library keeps reusable actions in one place, data sources can be refreshed or reindexed whenever content changes, and attendees can opt in to Sidekick during onboarding.
- Live translation and better LiveVoice audio: Sessions with a configured translation stream now offer translated audio and live subtitles through LiveVoice or Mixhalo. LiveVoice keeps playing when attendees lock their phone or switch apps, and audio stays private through headphones or the device receiver.
- Attendance surveys and meeting feedback: A new Attendance question lets attendees confirm with Yes or No whether they attended, and a Yes can record their attendance. Meeting surveys now appear alongside session surveys, and the Attendance question is skipped for attendees who have already checked in.
Other Updates
- More from Sidekick: Carousels now hold up to 12 items and support custom text and background colors. Sidekick can open from any link or button, and its cards can link to sessions by topic. Organizers can update or remove feed posts that have already been delivered, and AI credit alerts warn you before credits run out.
- Home screen image carousels: Add promotional banners with links, optional titles, automatic rotation, and custom ordering, in Full Width, Horizontal, or XL Horizontal styles.
- Easier event access: Attendees can search for events by name, SSO can open automatically when the app launches, and the event logo now appears on the verification code screen.
- Agendas and sessions: Agendas keep the order you set, ended sessions drop off My Schedule automatically, and capacity can be set for each time slot. RainFocus events now tell attendees right away when a session is full, Library filters find on-demand content correctly, and Library and My Agenda load faster.
- Meetings: Organizers choose who can see meeting participants. Participant lists show organizers first and mark pending or declined participants.
- Engagement tools: Attendees can download or share session, speaker, and sponsor files. Poll results export to CSV and show the latest 200 votes, and scheduled push notifications can be edited until they send. The For You tab can be moved or turned off, and For You indicators now appear consistently across the app.
- Amego Admin: Forms show clearer validation and save only the fields you change. Onboarding, content surveys, and saved navigation settings now stay exactly as you set them.
- Reliability fixes: Links to unavailable screens now go to Home, and quest, sponsor, Library, and session screens load more reliably. This month also included display cleanups, localization fixes, and security updates.
