Your Amego app already gives attendees access to everything they need. Sidekick helps them figure out what matters most, and what to do next.
What does Sidekick add?
Sidekick adds an intelligent, personalized layer to the Amego app your attendees already know and use. Nothing about the app they're familiar with goes away. Sidekick simply works alongside it.
Today, attendees often have to search through schedules, maps, sponsor listings, and networking opportunities on their own to find what's relevant. Sidekick takes on that work for them. It proactively surfaces what matters most to each attendee based on their interests, their schedule, and how they're engaging with the event, so they spend less time searching and more time actually experiencing the event.
What can it do for your attendees?
Sidekick supports attendees throughout the event with:
- Personalized session recommendations
- Smarter agenda building
- Schedule-gap recommendations
- Networking and matchmaking
- Sponsor and exhibitor discovery
- Timely event nudges
- Location-aware guidance
- Recommendations for relevant content and activations
Whether an attendee has a free hour between sessions, is looking for the right people to meet, or isn't sure which sponsor booths to visit, Sidekick can point them in the right direction at the right moment.
How should I get started?
If you're ready to get started with Sidekick, or you'd like to see it in action first, reach out to your Account Management team.
We can turn on Sidekick before your app is released to attendees. That gives your team time to explore the experience, get comfortable with how it works, and make adjustments before anyone else sees it.
As part of your Sidekick setup, our team can help you:
- Activate recommended feed items based on your event content and attendee experience
- Create custom cards for event-specific content, actions, or messaging
- Optimize Sidekick knowledge by adding Data Sources, making recommendations and interactions more relevant to your event
- Test and refine the experience before making Sidekick visible to all attendees
Our recommendation: Give your team 2 weeks to familiarize themselves with Sidekick and refine the experience before making it available to attendees. For larger or more complex events, starting 4 weeks ahead gives you more time to test, optimize, and build confidence in the experience.
What does this cost?
Contact your account executive to discuss Sidekick pricing. It is included in Enterprise plans; for Spark, Base, or Elevate, Sidekick credits are $0.01 each. You can find a credits calculator in your Account & Billing section of the Amego Admin.
