Attributes
The goal of attributes is to direct you to things that are of interest to you, which enhances the overall event experience.
When you set up your event, you can tag your content with traits like interests, industries, products, or years in the field. These tags are useful, but they're only as good as what someone typed in, and they're optional.
Attributes are different. Sidekick generates them automatically from what attendees actually do. An attendee might list "healthcare" as an interest on their registration form, but if they've spent the event checking out every session on AI in pharmaceuticals, that's an attribute, a behavior Sidekick noticed and started using to shape what it shows that attendee next. Attributes are implicit; Sidekick infers them by watching what attendees click, attend, and linger on, then groups attendees who behave alike into the same cohort.
How Attributes Get Generated
Attribute generation is mostly Sidekick working in the background. An initial set will be generated once, pulling from your event's content to establish a starting baseline. Then, Sidekick keeps refining and adding to that set on its own as it picks up more signal from attendee behavior by using what it learns to make better matches and recommendations as the event goes on.
Why Attributes Matter
For attendees, most people's stated interests are a rough sketch of what they actually want at best. Attributes let Sidekick solve that issue in real time by getting to know the attendee and pushing past basic tagging.
Attributes are what make Sidekick's recommendations useful before, during, and after the event, without your team building or maintaining a single audience segment by hand.
