Oftentimes, the first thing many attendees see from your app isn't the app; it’s the email with their sign-in code. Amego's sign-in emails are now fully styled, and you can brand and personalize them with your own event colors and logo rather than having a generic system message. However, until you add your own branding, emails use Amego's default colors.
Where to Find It
Email branding lives in Global Settings, not in an individual event. That means your settings apply to every event in your organization.
- In CMS, go to Admin.
- Click your avatar on the top right and select admin. Contact your account manager if you are unsure about who your admin is.
- Select the Emails tab.
What You Can Customize
- Primary color: Used for the email background and highlighted panels. Enter a hex code (for example, #7D12FF).
- Header color: Used for the header and footer bars. Enter a hex code (for example, #0F1327).
- Header logo: Your logo, shown in the header bar.
The app icon and app name in the email come from the Basics tab in Global Settings, so check those too.
Creative Asset Requirements
Have your header logo ready before you start:
- File type: Transparent PNG; Gmail does not support SVG.
- Size: About 40px tall. The logo displays at 20px tall, so the extra height keeps it sharp on high-resolution screens.
- Contrast: The logo sits on your header color, so pick a version that's easy to read against it. For example, use a white or light logo on a dark header.
If you don't upload a logo, the header shows your app name instead.
How to Set It Up
- On the Emails tab, enter your Primary color and Header color.
- Click the upload area under Header logo, or drag your PNG onto it.
- Select Save.
General Notes
- These settings are organization-wide. You can't set different email branding for individual events.
- Test before you launch. Sign in to your app as a tester and check the email you receive. Look at it in both light and dark mode, and in Gmail, because logos and colors can look different from one email app to another.
- Changes immediately apply to the next email sent with no republish needed
