Sponsor Recommendations

Sponsor Recommendations feature relevant sponsors and exhibitors based on the attendee interests, helping them discover valuable partnerships and resources. Sponsor Recommendations are Sidekick doing what a good expo floor host would do: pointing an attendee toward the most relevant and engaging booths.

For attendees, a crowded expo floor is easy to wander and hard to use; most attendees walk past dozens of booths that have nothing to do with what they're there for. Sponsor Recommendations surface the sponsors and exhibitors that best match an attendee's interests, pointing them toward the vendor or partner solving a problem they actually have.

Creating yourSponsor Recommendations

A Feed Item Name is the name of the feed item as it appears in Amego Admin and identifies which recommendation type you're configuring. It will already be determined based on the selected recommended feed item, and it cannot be edited. 

Your Sidekick Text is the message attendees see in their feed, and it can be personalized. Write it the way you'd want Sidekick to say it out loud: short, clear, and specific to what the attendee is about to see.

Once you have determined your text, you will determine the actions attached to your feed item. For more information on Actions, please consult Actions Article.

Finally, choose your timing for when you want this alert to enter the attendees’ feeds. You can set multiple schedules to act as reminders for certain times before events, for events that happen on multiple days, or other reminders For more information on timing, please consult Scheduling.
