Swoogo & Resource Files for Content

Amego supports pulling resource files from Swoogo directly into your mobile app using the Swoogo API. These files will appear in the "Files" tab of each Session or Sponsor detail screen. Supported File Types from Swoogo

There are two types of custom fields in Swoogo that can be used to bring over files:

1. Document Picker

• Allows for the selection of one document per field.
• Ideal for uploading PDFs, slide decks, or handouts.
• Files are uploaded directly into Swoogo.

2. URL

• Accepts a direct link to a file (e.g., PDF, video, etc.).
• Can point to a file hosted in Swoogo or in your hosting platform. Swoogo files can be hosted from the Dashboard under "Themes & Assets" > Files.

Note: Each of these field types only supports one file. If a session or sponsor requires multiple resource files, you'll need to create multiple custom fields in Swoogo (e.g., "Document Picker 1", "Document Picker 2", etc.) and share each Field ID with Amego so they can be individually mapped. You can even use a combination of the 2 fields depending on what you need.

Setup Instructions

1. Create Custom Field(s) in Swoogo – Set up your desired file fields using either the Document Picker or URL field type on the Speaker or Sponsor form.
2. Provide Field IDs – After creating the custom fields, locate their Field IDs in Swoogo and send them to your Amego Customer Success Manager.
3. Mapping the Fields – Once we receive the Field IDs, we'll map them to your API connection. This ensures the files are pulled into the app correctly.
4. File Display in the App – Once mapping is complete, the files uploaded in Swoogo will automatically appear in the "Files" tab for each associated session or sponsor.

File Display Behavior

• Document Picker files uploaded in Swoogo are assigned a unique file ID, not the original file name. This ID is what appears in the mobile app's Files tab.
• URL-based files will show the file name as entered in the link, making them easier to label and identify in the app.
