Your attendee list in Amego CMS is the record of who's in your app and what they can access — so it's worth setting up deliberately rather than importing once and forgetting about it. Navigate to Attendees to see the full list, search by name or email, and open any individual record to see how they registered, what tags they carry, and their login status.

If you're integrated with an EMS, most of your attendee records will sync automatically and your EMS remains the source of truth — edits made there flow into Amego on your sync schedule. If you're managing attendees manually, or need to add someone outside your normal registration flow (a last-minute speaker, a staff account, a tester), you can add them directly from the Attendees screen with just a name and email.

Tags and attendee types are what make the rest of the app work the way you want — they drive session visibility, networking eligibility, content filters, and home screen personalization. When you add or edit an attendee, take a second look at their tags rather than assuming the default is right, especially for anyone added manually outside your EMS sync.

Before your event, it's worth reviewing your attendee list for duplicates, obviously incomplete records, or test accounts you created during setup — cleaning these up ahead of time saves confusion at check-in, when a duplicate or missing record is a lot harder to sort out with a line of people waiting.
