How to customize your app navigation menu and icons.

Customizing Your Navigation Panel

To customize your navigation panel, select Screens > Navigation. You can select up to 6 items to show in your main navigation bar. Any screen can be selected, but please note that not all screens have default labels or icons.

Note: Home will always show first, and More is always last.

You can edit the order of your navigation items in the section at the bottom of the Screens > Navigation section. To edit the order, simply drag the nav items to the desired spot.

To edit the screen names (labels) or to use custom icons, click the pencil icon. We recommend short, one-word names when possible.

You also have the option to use an "active" and "inactive" icon, so you can make the active icon show in a color, or more bold, as you wish. The labels do not have active/inactive states.

Customize Your Navigation Bar

You can now customize the color of the app's navigation bar to better match your event branding. Previously set to white by default, the navigation bar background and text colors can now be updated directly in the CMS.

To update these settings, navigate to Design > Colors and adjust:

  • Nav Background Color – controls the background color of the navigation bar
  • Nav Text Colors – update both the Default and Active navigation text colors

This allows you to create a more cohesive app experience that aligns with your event's brand colors.
